Sailing at the is all about having fun, enjoying the lake, and sharing the experience with others. Throughout the summer, informal sailing outings are organized based on member interest, sailor availability, and wind conditions.

Led by Susie Longfield, Vice-Commodore of Sailing, the program welcomes sailors of all ages and skill levels. Experienced sailors on the lake are often happy to lend boats, introduce beginners to the sport, or help newer sailors build confidence on the water.

For those looking for a little more excitement, windy days on Silver Lake can offer an unforgettable ride — spray in your face included! Sailing buddies and crew members are always welcome, including younger sailors interested in learning and joining the fun.
