Kayaking offers members a fun and relaxing way to explore the natural beauty of Silver Lake and surrounding waterways. Led by Ron Force, Vice-Commodore of Kayaking, the group plans a variety of seasonal paddling adventures designed for both recreational kayakers and those looking for a little more exploration.

This summer’s activities include the always-popular kayaking poker run, featuring a shorter and more accessible course located on the northern end of Silver Lake for the first time. Members can also look forward to the highly anticipated paddle down the scenic Bear Camp River and across Ossipee Lake.

Events are planned for July and August, with exact dates depending on weather and water conditions to ensure the best possible experience for participants.

Whether you enjoy peaceful paddles, group outings, or discovering new waterways with friends, the SLBC kayaking program is a great way to get outside, stay active, and connect with fellow lake enthusiasts.
